Activity Fun

ACTIVITY: drawing and destroying “monster” bully pictures. This activity can help a bullied child process intense emotions like fear, anger, and confusion in a safe @home environment, allowing the child to externalize the threat (the bully monster), gain a sense of control by defeating it (tearing it up), boost self-esteem, and transforming feelings of empowerment into creative expression and release.

ACTIVITY: A parent-child singalong can boost a bullied child’s confidence, reduce stress, foster a stronger parent-child connection, and provide a safe way to explore emotions. Parent-child singalongs about bullying can help children develop empathy for themselves as well as others and reinforce a child’s sense of self, countering feelings of worthlessness from bullying.

ACTIVITY: Building a shoe box safe house with a parent is a therapeutic and educational activity that helps a preschooler develop emotional regulation, problem-solving skills, and a sense of security. This activity acts as a “safe space” or “calm cave” to help them process feelings of fear, anxiety, or helplessness related to bullying.
